A high-quality tombak Gau Wartheland Badge. Gilt wreath. Separately riveted eagle (8 rivets). The swastika and the dated "1939" are blue enameled. "420" numbered to the back. No chipping. Awarded in summer 1940 for his service as "Reichsstatthalter als Beauftragter des Reichskommissars für die Festigung deutschen Volkstums" in Posen. Proven by the letter from 6. July 1945.
