Exciting Luftwaffe Wehrpaß to mechanic Unteroffizier Erich Ruhl serving with Jagdgeschwader 132 Richthofen, Zerstörergeschwader 76, Nachtjagdgeschwader 1 as well as with Jäger-Regiment 10. He worked on Me109, Me110 and Me210 as page 21 confirms.
Awarded the Sudetenland Medal with bar Prager Burg and the War Merit Cross with swords. Page 32 and 33 provide a long list of his campaigns. He served from the first day of WW2 in Poland, in Norway, was part of the battle of Britain, served in Holland and on the Krim (Kertsch). He was killed on 26.9.1943 near Saporoschja (Ukraine).
