A 1930s period time Austrian Service Cap which was re-issued for use in the Wehrmacht after 1938. We add a photo of a Austrian SA member which also wears a cap like this. He also wears the same Edelweiss but a political cap eagle instead of a Heer eagle which is what we got here.
This cap could have also been worn by an SA member of course. He wouldn't have bother the "wrong" eagle I guess.
Nice condition! Only two very small moth bites. Aluminum eagle and Edelweiss. Size 56.
