Fine silver tea set to General Alfred von Lowenfeld.
Glass tea cup with hand-painted gold-red-white-orange ornaments. Color as well as enameled.
Height: 9cm. Unmarked.
Matching heater. Brass. Silvered. Engraved to the bottom: "1875 3/VI. 1900" "F.u.E.v.L.".
The crest of "von Loewenfeld" to the front.
The inside brass cup holding the glass is "U" stamped and comes with an engraved "3".
Height of the heater: 9cm.
It goes with a British sugar pot made from silver with a blue glass pot inside.
Marked with a lion and "d" to the top and with a Lion (for Great Britain), a "d", an anker (for the City of Birmingham) and the master mark to the bottom.
Furthermore "von Loewenfeld" engraved and "5" stamped.
It comes with the matching spoon which is "W.M.F." marker marked and "90" "6" stamped.
Height of the pot: 6,5cm. Diameter: 6cm.
Loewenfeld was awarded the 1870 Iron Cross (as a Sekondleutnant during the battle of Gravelotte), the chain to the Order of the Black Eagle and the Grand Cross of the Order of the Red Eagle.
He was promoted to a Generalleutnant in 1904 serving as commander of 1. Garde-Division. Loewenfeld became "Generaladjutant" of Kaiser Wilhelms II at the same time. He was promoted to a General der Infanterie on 29.5.1909.

Teeglas mit mehrfarbig emaillierten Applikationen in Form von Blumenbändern. Höhe 9 cm.
Der zugehörige zweiteilige Wärmer aus versilbertem Messing mit schauseitig fein graviertem Wappen Loewenfelds, auf der Unterseite Widmung "1875 3/VI. 1900" und "F.u.E.v.L."
Die silberne Zuckerdose mit kobaltblauem Glaseinsatz. Auf der Unterseite tremolierstrich und Gravur "von Loewenfeld", punziert mit Meistermarke, Löwe (für englische Silbererzeugnisse), Anker (Stadtmarke Birmingham) und "d". Höhe 6,5 cm. Durchmesser 6 cm. Dazu ein kleiner WMF-Zuckerlöffel
Loewenfeld wurde unter anderem mit dem Eisernen Kreuz 1870 (als Sekondleutnant bei der Schlacht von Gravelotte), der Kette des schwarzen Adlerordens und dem Großkreuz des Roten Adlerordens ausgezeichnet.
1904 erfolgte seine Beförderung zum Generalleutnant als Kommandeur der 1. Garde-Division und gleichzeitiger Ernennung zum Generaladjutanten Kaiser Wilhelms II.
