An interesting Third Reich period time peaked cap.
The cap itself looks to be a Third Reich forestry cap. However it comes with period time hand-attached customs (Zollgrenzschutz) insignia. It looks to be a large size eagle cut from a customs cuffband and a Wehrmacht cockade.
An unusual combination which was definitively arranged period time in my opinion.
Grey cotton lining. Seam of the sweat-band has opened. Minor moth damage.
