Description
Extremely rare grouping to Oberbootsmann Hans Grundwald awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class, the Minesweeper War badge, the Destroyer War Badge serving with destroyer "Karl Galster" and the Naval Front Clasp!

The certificate to the "Marinefrontspange in Bronze" was awarded "An Bord" on 8.5.1945. It is stamped but the swastika was denazified slightly after I suppose. It is ink signature by the "Chef der 9. Sicherungsdivision" Fregattenkapitän von Blanc. Folded twice. A 5cm long crack to the middle.

The remaining three documents are not folded and in very nice condition. The Destroyer War Badge citation has a 1cm long crack.

Part of the grouping are also his awards. An unmarked 1939 Iron Cross on original ribbon. His unmarked Destroyer War Badge. Tombak. Pitting. A zinc Schwerin, Berlin marked Minesweeper War Badge and his "front made" Naval Front Clasp. Nice condition. Typical proof late war manufactured piece.

A nice and rare grouping!
