1.West-Afrik.Inf.Reg.180 Kamerun wall machine

Description
Very rare "machine" showing a German kolonial soldier instructing a native how to march. You can see more natives with German spike helmets (Pickelhaube) in the background. There are barracks and palm trees.

The figures are made from paper. One leg, one arm and both heads are moving and can be regulated from the back of the machine.

The figures as well as the background are printed. There is a tag to the bottom explaining the unit these machines were made for: "1.West-Afrik.Inf.Reg. No. 180 Kamerun".
A "Muster deponirt am 20. Januar 1885" paper tag to the wooden back plate.

Size: 26cm x 34cm x 11cm.
Wooden construction with original glass.

Extremely rare! Made in Kamerun, Africa.
