Small grouping to the Feldgendarmerie SS-Hauptscharführer Walter Redmann. It contains his Soldbuch and a Feldgendarmerie gorget.
The gorget is a textbook example which was "upgraded" with a custom made aluminum plate showing the sun wheel swastika which was the emblem of division Wiking. It was riveted onto the gorget. The swastika was painted with thick yellow paste. The iron plate shows rust to the reverse.

Wartime units he served were SS-Pz.Div. "Wiking" Feldgendarmerie Trupp as well as Feldgendarmerie Kompanie of SS-Panzer-Division "Frundsberg". Awards noted on page 30:
War Merit Cross 2nd Class, East Medal, 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class, Wound Badge in black. Two extra pages wer hiding inside the rear cover stating his East Campaign battles of 1941.
