Description
Allgemeine-SS, NCO-pattern, black service-tunic ('SS-Dienstrock') 'Truppführer des 37. SS-Standarte' (Linz). The tunic is only moderately used- and/or worn - and is constructed from black-coloured wool and comes with all proper insignia, period-attached. It has a black-coloured- and linnen-based lining that shows a single inner-pouch and two pouches (as intended to store a bandage-package). The tunic - which retains all its period-attached, aluminum buttons - shows (on the inside) a fairly large-sized, white-coloured 'RzM'-etiket that reads: 'SS Dienstrock - Tuch..etc.' and also shows two (black-coloured- and also linnen-based) etikets that respectively read: 'SS Vom Reichsführer befohlene Ausführung RzM' and: '124/35'.

The tunic shows the typical 'pleaded' upper-pockets and 'hidden' under-pockets (as were specific for this M37-model service-tunic) and shows the 'twisted' silver- and black striped piping, period-attached around its collar. The piece shows 4 belt-hook attachment-hooks on its side ie. back (which are all 'SS-RzM'-marked) and shows some wear, age and/or staining (but is void of any damage or alike). The tunic - shows a large-sized, white-inked: '98'-numeral on its inside - and has an approximate waist of 88 cms. : it will certainly fit a medium-sized mannequin.

The tunic shows a (matching) pair of woolen-based- and 'RzM'-pattern collar-tabs attached (which also have the 'twisted' silver- and black striped piping attached). The right-sided collar-tab shows the numeral: '37' (which is nicely hand-embroidered in silver-coloured braid). The piece shows, moreover, as per regulation a single 'Allgemeine SS'-type shoulder-board attached (matching the rank of the collar-tabs). Next to this, does the tunic show a woolen-based, swastika armband ('Armbinde') that shows some (minimal) moth-damage and shows an 'RzM'-pattern, service-cuff-title (ie. 'Ärmelstreifen') attached that shows the hand-embroidered '3'-numeral. This (rarely seen!) 'Allgemeine-SS' tunic seems to be in an 'untouched' condition and all insignia-pieces are (period) tunic-attached by a machine.
