Heer or Kriegsmarine, silver-toned, so-called: 'Einzelspange', showing a: 'Wehrmacht-Dienstauszeichnung 4. Klasse für 4 Jahre Dienstzeit'. The medal comes mounted on its confectioned, darker-blue- (ie. cornflower-blue-) coloured ribbon (bar-) having its originally attached silver-coloured eagle-device still attached and in place. The medal retains a nice ie. somewhat 'frosted'- ie. tarnished, age-patina. The medal is 'mounted' on a clasp (with functional pin/catch) as was intended for wearing this example on a 'going-out'- ie. dress-tunic or 'Waffenrock'. This example is 'backed' with field-grey-coloured (felt-like-) wool.
