Description
A privately purchased light weight field tunic for a Leutnant serving with Jäger-Regiment 227. Jäg.Rgt.227 fought it South Russia when found in April 1942 which would explain the summer style field tunic. It was destroyed in Stalingrad in February 1943.

All insignia are attached by hand and are definitely period time attached. Collar tabs, shoulder boards and breast eagle show the same sort of corrosion, green rust or nothing. The Jäger sleeve badge is actually very nice. It comes with a silver cord for officer's. A nice hand-sticked example and quite nice condition.

Grey linen cloth without lining. All buttons show full original color and are original attached.
The tunic shows almost no signs of wear.
