Description
Rare photo grouping of the brother Rudolf and Otto Heger. Both were awarded the Knight’s Cross! Rudolf Heger was a Stalingrad veteran of Art.Rgt.96.

Hauptmann Rudolf Heger. 1.6.1917. Knight’s Cross as leader of 4./Art.Rgt.96. Knight’s Cross on 20.1.1943 as an Oberleutnant in STALINGRAD! Killed in action on 31.1.1944 South of Cassino, Italy.

Hauptmann d.R. Otto Heger. 28.12.1911. Knight’s Cross as commander II./Jäger-Regiment 227 on 21.9.1944. Died in 2006.

Three studio portraits of Otto Heger with his medals. 9cm x 13cm as well as 9,5cm x 6,5cm. 
Four small photos of Rudolf Heger. Two show him with his German Cross in the field. Two with his Knight's Cross. The ones with the Knight's Cross were definitely taken in Stalingrad. Reverse: "Letzt Aufnahme Heger Rud." (last photos alive)
Furthermore one postcard 1950s photo of veterans. One of them must be Rudolf Heger.
