HJ, award-document ('Auzeichnungsmappe Sporttage der Jugend 1940') as awarded to Franz Zigon. The attractive (and bordeaux-red-coloured) 2-paged document (ie. 'Mappe) measures 22,2 x 16,2 cms. and shows the (golden-toned- and embossed) eagle-device and text on its front that reads: 'Sporttage der Jugend 1940'.
When opened, the casing shows a bright-golden-toned and metal-based eagle-device attached on its left side: on its right-side it shows a (neatly calligraphed) text that states that the (HJ-member) Zigon won the first place in a swimming-context on 7 July 1940.
The document is signed by an unidentified HJ-leader being the: 'K.Führer des Gebietes Oberdonau (29)'. The document(casing) comes in a wonderful condition and was only minimally used.
