Third Reich period time luxury police parade bayonet. A so-called "PSS" example (Polizei Seitengewehr Sonderausführung). An excellent high quality piece by an unknown maker. The grip is made from real horn and shows a police eagle badge attached. The nickel-finished metal parts of the handle show oak leaves ornaments which makes this example extremely special. The original red protection felt is in place. The bayonet is "RK 3507" stamped to the cross guard.
Excellent clean blade without signs of use. Unmarked. Blackened (not painted) scabbard without any dents. Minor light rust marks, no pitting. Very nice condition.
An excellent piece which will be extremely hard to upgrade!
