Description
SS-VT pair of marching-boots (ie. 'Stiefel') as was intended for staff serving within the 'SS-Verfügungstruppen'. The pair - which was most likely intended for NCO- (ie. officer-) usage - is executed in black-coloured- (and shiny) fine-grained leather. The boots are nicely marked on the soles with an impressed stamp that clearly reads: '29 1/2 2 116 38 SS': moreover, do they show a similar stamp on the inside that reads: '29 5 2 VA 116 38 56/A 2'. The boots are fairly large-sized (approximately sized '44/45') and will with certainty fit a mannequin. The pair is truly nicely preserved and is void of any damage or wear-marks: it can easily be graded 'almost mint'.
