Waffen-SS breast-badge as worn to indicate former membership within the German police (ie. 'Brustabzeichen für ehem. Polzeiangehörigen'). The badge is neatly hand-embroidered in silver-coloured braid on a field-grey-coloured- (ie. typical 'Polizei'-) wool and was never issued nor used: it still has to be cut into shape. The piece shows some minimal corrosion-marks.
