Waffen-SS, tropical-issue shirt (ie. 'Tropenhemd') often referred to as: 'Sahariana'-shirt. The shirt is executed in (fairly thick-styled) beige-yellow- (ie. tan-) coloured linnen and comes complete with all its (period) resin-based buttons (of which one seems to have been replaced). Moreover, does it show two silver-coloured 'screw-on'-buttons (or: 'Schraubknöpfe') period-attached (as were intended to affix the shoulder-straps or boards). The shirt shows a tiny ink-stamp ('38') in its neck (probably its size). The shirt is fairly large-sized and has an approximate waist of 120 cms. and length of 92 cms. The piece has only been moderately worn and used and shows some minimal usage and/or fading: it is, however, void of any damage or alike.
