Wehrmacht, tan-yellow-coloured rangefinder 'Entfernungsmesser 34' being a maker- ie. 'CXN' marked example. The piece was clealy used and shows wear, age and staining. It still retains most of its tan-coloured paint (ie. 'Einheitsfarbe') and retains its period-attached identification-shields (of which one shows the text: 'EM34 - CXN - 87593'). As such it deals with a 'standard-issued', optical WH-equipment-piece that was produced by the company: 'Emil Busch AG - Optische Industrie - Rathenow.
The rangefinder retains its (still functional) metal lense-protector and retains a fairly clear sight. One of its (leather-based) 'end-pieces' shows obvious damage. The piece came mounted on its (partially present and also damaged) carrying-belt.
