Small grouping to the Afrikakorps veteran Obergefreiter Siegfried Hendel. He served with 3. / Schützen-Regiment 382 during the Afrika campain which was part of the 164. leichte Afrika-Division. It fought at El Alamein, in Lybia and Tunisia. Schützen-Regiment 382 was destroyed near Tunis in March 1943. After that, Hendel served with Panzegrenadier Regiment 40.
Part of the grouping are the certificates to the Wound Badge in black and the AFRIKA cuffband. Both are in good condition and have been folded once. The certificate to the Afrika cuffband has been issued by the Heeresgruppe Afrika.
There is a full size Afrikakorps cuffband in excellent condition. Finally a few other documents and papers to Hendel.
