Prussian sword KD 89 for a member serving with Husaren Regiment Königin Wilhelmina der Niederlande (Hannoversches) Nr. 15. Private purchased.
Handle with a folding guard as well as the coat of arms of Prussia. Black bakelite grip. No chips.
A nice blade with a blue backed unit etching "Hus. Regt. Königin Wilhelmina der Niederlande (Hann.) No. 15." as well as "Riding Hussars". The other side also with a blue backed etching "Peninsula. Waterloo. El Bodon. Barossa.". Etched to three sides. Black re-painted scabbard.
