Description
Absolutely untouched early 4-pocket field tunic for a highly decorated Infanterie Oberleutnant. The tunic belonged to Oberleutnant Kreisel serving with Infanterie-Regiment 34. Please see previous lot for another field tunic to him.
Very early tunic which looks to have been worn as a parade tunic once. Pockets and new insignia were added by the tailor period time. Machine-attached collar tabs, officer's breast eagle correctly attached by hand.
All buttons period time attached with full original color. The reverse of the tunic shows the original parade buttons still in place. Three pair of loops for awards to the breast pocket. Original attached small field ribbon bar for an Iron Cross 2nd Class and an East Medal.
