Blade with motto "ALLES FÜR DEUTSCHLAND" as well as "Aesculap, Tuttlingen" maker marked. Slight pitting.
Brown wooden grip with original enamel SA emblem and national eagle. Cross guard "Sw" (Südwest) stamped. Period time black re-painted scabbard. Most probably by the NSKK member himself. The original brown factory color is still underneath.
Please note: By order of NSKK Korpsführer Adolf Hühnlein from 19. May 1936 the scabbard of the NSKK Service Dagger had to be painted black. Until that time,the NSKK members wore the standard SA dagger.Therefore numerous scabbards were re-painted with black color from 1936.
