WW1 Iron Cross 1st Class grouping to Lt.Hamberger

Description
Fantastic document grouping to the highly decorated WW1 veteran Leutnant Franz Hamberger. Hamberger was born on 12.6.1895 and served with Bayer.Res.Feld.Art.Rgt. 1. He was awarded the 1914 Iron Cross 1st Class for bravery during the battle of Arras. Part of the grouping is a document explaining more details on his brave act which is extremely rare to find.

Certificate to the Iron Cross 2nd Class issued on 6.5.1916. Signed by the commander of III. Abteilung.
Certificate to the Iron Cross 1st Class issued on 2.1.19176 signed by a Generalmajor.
Both certificates in good condition 2.

Hamberger was also awarded the Wound Badge in black as a list of his awards proofs, however it looks to be missing.

Certificate to the Bavarian Military Merit Cross 2nd Class with swords. Issued to Hamberger as a "Vizewachtmeister" on 10.10.1916. Four page document with holes. Folded.

Certificate to the Bavarian Military Merit Cross 4th Class with swords. Folded holes.

There are more period time as well as postwar documents related to his service time. A picture of Hamberg is shown on a postwar newspaper article on him.
A very interesting grouping with a lot of room for additional research.

There is a hand-written and a machine-written document explaining why the Iron Cross 1st Class was awarded to him. Both are 2.11.1917 issued and very interesting to read.
