Description
Two rare kill report document grouipngs to later Oberleutnant and Knight's Cross recipient Otto Tange serving with II./Jagdgeschwader 51 (5.Staffel).
One aerial kill on 25.6.1941, another one on 9.9.1941.
The groupings proofs who strict the procedure was until a kill was confirmed and listed!
 
25.6.1941:
DIN A4 size document "Abschussmeldung" issued on 25.6.1941 on Tange shooting down a Russian "DB3" on 25.6.41 North West of "Wygonowskie See" with his Me109. Detailed report signed by the Staffelkapitän 5./J.G.51 Hans Kolbow. (27 victories, Knight's Cross)
 
"Gefechtsbericht" signed by Tange as a Feldwebel on 25.6.1941. His views on the kill. DIN A4 size. 
 
"Luftzeugenbericht" dated 25.6.1941. DIN A4 size. Report of Tange's eye witness of the kill, Hans Strelow.
Original signature.
 
Hans Strelow (1922-1942) was a Luftwaffe fighter ace and recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves. He received the award two days before his 20th birthday making him the youngest recipient of the Oak Leaves. Strelow flew more than 200 missions, and was credited with 68 aerial victories. To avoid capture by the Red Army Strelow committed suicide after he was shot down by a Petlyakov Pe-2 twin-engine bomber in Bf 109 F-2 "Black 10". He had made a forced landing 9 kilometres (5.6 mi) behind Soviet lines.
 
"Vernehmung" questioning document signed by Tange and his Staffelkapitän Kolbow. 
 
"Gefechtsbericht" written by the Staffelkapitän. Original signature. A report this date's campaign of the Staffel and the 15 killed Russian aircrafts.
 
9.9.1941
"Abschussmeldung" written by the Staffelführer of 5./J.G.51 Hans Strelow confirming that Tange has shot down a Russian "P 2" Northeast of Nowgorod-Seversk on 9.9.1941.
"Gefechtsbericht" written and signed by Tange. "Vernehmung" signed by Tange and his Staffelkapitän, ""Erdzeugenbericht" written and signed by Hans Strelow. "Gefechtsbericht" by Hans Strelow on the campaign of his Staffel on 9.9.1941. 
 
In addition, this grouping comes with modern photocopies of further kill reports and his award certificates allowing additional research.
