Description
Document grouping to Oberleutnant Helmut Bohlens serving with 1./Aufklärungsstaffel (F) 122 in Africa. He was reported missing in auction on 19.4.1943 by "Küstenvorfeldaufklärung Algier-Capferat". Bohlens was awarded the Luftwaffe Honor Goblet, the German Cross in gold, the Squadron Clasp for Aufklärer in bronze, silver, gold and gold with hanger. Furthermore the Iron Cross 2nd Class and 1st Class. Most of his awards were awarded to him during the Africa Campaign.

1939 issued Soldbuch with Soldbuch cover. It was never issued with a photograph. Many entries including Afrika related entries. Information on tropical uniform and gear issued to Bohlens. All awards are noted. Interesting information on units. Rare signatures.

Part of the grouping is his blue pilot's license providing an original attached photo. He passed the "Blindflugschule" in 1940 which legitimated him serving during the night. A note "missing in action" since 19.4.1943 on the last page of the license booklet as well as to the Soldbuch.
