Description
Interesting document grouping to Leutnant Fritz Carstens sering with 7./Nachtjagdgeschwader 1.
 
Certificate to the Jäger Squadron Clasp in bronze issued on 23.7.1941. Original signature of NJG 1 commander Wolfgang Falck. Nachtjagdgeschwader 1 stamped. 
Issued to Carstens as a Leutnant serving with 7./ NJG 1.
Never folded. Very good condition.
 
Certificate to the Jäger Squadron Clasp in bronze issued on 7.7.1942. Original signature of NJG 1 commander Wolfgang Falck. Nachtjagdgeschwader 1 stamped. 
Issued to Carstens as a Leutnant serving with 7./ NJG 1.
Never folded. Very good condition.
 
Iron Cross 1st Class certificate issued on 9.6.1941 to Leutnant Carstens serving with 7./ NJG 1. Original signature of commander of the Nachtjagddivision Kammhuber.
Never folded. Excellent condition.
 
Blue ID card with original attached photograph in Luftwaffe uniform. 
Original press photograph showing Carstens from behind inside his aircraft.
 
Original kill report dated 9.11.1941 for an aerial kill of a "Whitley V" shot down by Carstens on 9.11.1941. Three pages including the original "Gefechtsbericht".

Another kill report for an aerial kill of another "Whitley V" shot down by Carstens on 12.11.1941 consisting of the "Gefechtsbericht" and the "Abschussmeldung".
 
Two cards of congratulations regarding his promotion. Both April 1942 dated. One signed by nightfighter ace and commander of NJG 1 Wolfgang Falck, the other card signed by Generalleutnant Kurt-Bertram von Döring, commander of 1. Nachtjagddivision.

Two original menu cards named to "Oberleutnant Carstens" with color printed Nachtjagd crest to the front cover.
