Description
Grouping to Leutnant Arnold Döring born on 29.1.1918. Döring was awarded the Knight's Cross as a fighter pilot serving with 10./Nachtjagdgeschwader 3 on 17.4.1945. Döring was credited with 23 aerial victories. He had 392 enemy missions including 248 as a Kampfflieger. He saw action at Stalingrad.
 
Wehrpaß with removed photograph. A replica portrait photo was added instead. Issued in January 1938. Serving with K.G. 53 and 55 before he was ordered to serve as a fighter pilot. Jagdgeschwader 100, Jagdgeschwader 300, Nachtjagdgeschwader 2 and 3 until 5.4.1945.
Several notes for Nachtjagd training from 1943.
 
Awarded the Pilot's Badge, Iron Cross 2nd Class, Squadron Clasp for Kampfflieger in bronze, Iron Cross 1st Class, Squadron Clasp for Kampfflieger in gold, Luftwaffe Honor Goblet, East Medal, German Cross in gold Squadron Clasp in gold with hanger, Squadron Clasp in gold with hanger "300", Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. 
It says "Am 15.3.1945 zu Ritterkreuz eingereicht".
 
A long list of his campaigns from 1940 until 8.5.1945 to pages 32,33 and 47. 
Many "Nachtjagd" related notes. Campaigns in Charkow and Stalingrad as well as in Germany in 1945.
214 missions as a Kampfflieger until 14.8.1943. 13 aerial victories as a day fighter. 
 
He was credited with 23 confirmed aerial victories, 13 as a day fighter and 10 as a night fighter.
 
Including 1970s letters from and two Döring on his military career providing interesting information on his unit as well.
