Description

Grouping to Oberleutnant Helmut Griesmeyer serving with an Artillery-Regiment as Batteriechef. Killed in action on 19.11.1943 in Russia. Awarded with 1939 Iron Cross 2nd and 1st Class, East Medal, Wound Badge in silver and General Assault Badge. Proven by his death card (enclosed).

The grouping consists of roughly 162 photos of his military service. Including shots of his father Max Grießmeyer and brother Helmut Grießmeyer.

Max Grießmeyer, Luftwaffe Major and WWI veteran. Awarded with 1914 Iron Cross 1st Class and WWI Observer's Badge.

Helmut Grießmeyer serving with Heer as Oberleutnant.

Furthermore his SA "Leistungsbuch" achievement booklet and military physical examination ID-card from 1935, one death notice  (dated 1944) as well as a part of the ID-card of his father.
