Grand Cross Breast Star of the Order of Trujillo (ORDEN DE TRUJILLO). Five-piece construction, silver with red, white, blue and green enamels. Vertical pinback. Some of the tips are bent. Three of the cross arms exhibiting crazing in the enamels. On the right arm of the cross, you can also see a small chip in the enamel. Unmarked.

The Order of Trujillo was the second principal order of the Dominican Republic, after the Order of Merit of Duarte, Sanchez, and Mella. It was established on 13 June 1938 in honor of the then-President Generalissimo Rafael Trujillo. The Head of State conferred the order both to civilians and members of the military for distinguished services, regardless of Dominican Republic citizenship.
