Exciting 1943 issued Waffen-SS Soldbuch to SS-Unterführeranwärter Karl-Heinz Claassen. Claasen was born on 29.1.1926 and has served with 12.SS-Panzer-Division "Hitlerjugend" and SS-Panzergrenadier-Regiment 2 "Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler". The grouping contains very late 1945 notes and documents. Claassen might have been involved in the D-Day Campaign with 12.SS-Division.
1. Soldbuch to SS-Untersturmführer Karl-Heinz Claassen serving with 12.SS-Pz.Div."Hitlerjugend". Issued on 11. October 1943 with the original attached photo. Serving with Panzerjägerabteilung, 12.SS-Panzer-Division "Hitlerjugend" and SS-Panzergrenadier-Regiment 2 "LAH". He spent time in three military hospitals from 9.8.1944 when he was wounded.
Awarded with the Wound Badge in Black. Some pages are loose but all are complete. Well worn condition.
2. Promotion document as "SS-Unterführer-Anwärter". Issued on 12. March 1945 as he served with "SS-Panzerjäger (Sturmgeschütz) Schule Jannowitz". Signed by SS-Sturmbannführer and Commander Sinn. Folded. Good condition.
3. Certificate of discharge. issued on 1.June 1946. Folded several times.
