A nice document grouping to Feldwebel Herbert Liebetruth serving with 3./Fallschirm-Artillerie-Regiment 2. A part of the 2. Fallschirmjäger-Division 2. Formed 1943 at Vannes, France. Feldwebel Liebetruth was involved in the campaigns in Italy, Greece, Russia, and France.
Soldbuch "Zweitschrift" issued on 21.6.1944 with original photography. His units are listed on page 3. Awards: Luftwaffe Paratrooper Badge, KRETA cuff title on 1.4.1943, 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class, Wound Badge in black and 1939 Iron Cross 1st Class on 1.9.1944 (at the same time he was promoted to Feldwebel). Noted on page 22. Wounded in Brittany, where the unit was in action in July 1944.
