Meindl badge, minus pin, silver with correct markings
Description
Rare "Meindl" traditional badge which was only worn by German paratroopers of the II. Fallschirm-Korps. The "M" stands for Meindl (General der Fallschirmtruppe Eugen Meindl as commander of, who II. Fallschirm-Korps".
The badge is made from real silver and "A 800" silver stamped as well as maker marked.
Prongs missing. Height: 30 mm
This badge was taken from a South African soldier as a war souvenir on the African war scenes. He had ripped it off the field cap of the soldier.
