Fantastic Kriegsmarine single decal helmet which was published in the book "Combat Helmets of the Third Reich" by Thomas Kibler.
The helmet comes with full original grey paint and a eagle decal in gold color which was only used for Kriegsmarine helmets. Quite a few Heer helmets seem to have a gold color decal when the patina turns silver decals darker, however, this decal is definitely a real Kriegsmarine helmet.
The grey factory paint and the decal are over 90%. The size 59 marked and "Offermanns" named leather liner comes with the original cord and is originally attached to the shell. The rivets are originally attached as well. The chin strap is still soft but it has a crack near the buckle. It is 1941 dated and maker marked and might be added at a later time.
