Rare certificate to Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. Issued on 29. December 1942 to Feldwebel Willi Tritsch serving as a pilot with Schlachtgeschwader 1. Originally signed by Generalmajor Ernst Cabanis. Two small bits are missing to the bottom. Folded once.
Willi Tritsch flew a total of about 580 missions. Achieved a total of 20 aerial victories as well as 60 tanks destroyed. German Cross in gold on 13. January 1942 as Unteroffizier serving with Lehrgeschwader 2.
