Fantastic set of 100 unissued Luftwaffe cap eagles with black cloth backing. Machine-embroidered. There are 10 packages with 10 eagles each still with the original thread around. The cardboard case of issue is in excellent condition as well and is "Hoheitszeichen für Arbeitsmützen" marked. The maker's mark should be "H.W.W.".
The eagles were originally thought to be for the black Luftwaffe sidecap for Bordmechaniker (Arbeitsmützen) but were also issued to Hermann Göring troops like that. They are exactly the same.
