Description
Exciting document and medal grouping to Oberwachtmeister der Schutzpolizei Hans Beck. Beck served with SS-Polizei-Regiment 5 which was part of SS-Polizei-Division. Oberwachtmeister is equivalent to the rank of an SS-Hauptscharführer however the SS-Polizei-Division used another system of ranks as they did wear other insignia at the beginning of the war.

Beck destroyed a Russian T34 on 15.10.1944 during the battle around Belgrad with his "Panzerfaust". Part of the grouping is the original document explaining this act. The document is the actual award document. It says "Dieser Befehl ist eine Urkunde". It was issued at the "Batallionsgefechtsstand" on 22.12.1944 and was signed by the Adjutant of the battalion. It is SS-Pol.Rgt.5 stamped.
It also mentions another comrade from 1.Kompanie, Franz Csaftary, having destroyed two Russian T34 on the same day.
