Extremely rare SS Service Dagger with etched blade "In herzlicher Kameradschaft H. Himmler". A so-called Himmler-dagger.
Bronzed scabbard. Leather hanger. Wooden grip with small cracks and signs of use. "I" stamped cross guard. The blade is numbered towards the cross guard. It is "CARL EICKHORN SOLINGEN" maker marked as well as "In herzlicher Kameradschaft H. Himmler" etched.
You can see marks near the number of the blade which proofs this blade was taken out once for some reason. The are water marks to the blade. The over all condition is 3.
Himmler daggers did not have the "I" marked cross guard which means it must be a put-together dagger. While it is original in every single part, it did not leave the factory like this. A "touched" but very rare example.
