A very rare and almost never encountered pioneer tool carrier bag. Early-war model manufactured from a heavy green canvas. This bag was designed to be carrier over the shoulder. It is in overall very good condition with some slight oxidation. The carrying strap is still present and attached. Featuring grey web closure straps tipped with metal as seen on MP38/40 ammunition pouches. Small part of the content is present, the contents of this pouch would include files, pliers, screwdrivers, etc. The reverse is blue ink stamped with the maker’s details, the date « 1940 » and the Waffenamt. A very nice and rarer piece of pioneer fieldgear.
