Description

A privately purchased officer's field tunic designed like an M36 field tunic with a dark green collar and vertical bars to all pockets.

It belonged to Oask Mugler, Hauptmann awarded with the German Cross in Gold on January 27th, 1945. The tunic comes with a 1944 dated tag named "O. Mugler". 

Breast eagle: machine-woven officer's pattern. Attached by hand.
Collar tabs: Red piped officer's tabs. Woven. Period time attached by machine 
Shoulder boards: red. Sewn-in. Gilt "112" ciphers. Hauptmann.
Sleeve badge: Officer's Edelweiss badge. Hand-embroidered. Attached by hand. 

Lining. Fine silk
Name tag / tailor's tag: in place
Buttons: Complete. Original attached.

Several award loops including one pair for this German Cross.
