Comprehensive grouping to SS-Standartenführer Otto Binge, commander of 17th SS Panzergrenadier Division Götz von Berlichingen. Pre SS service time belongings of his 1920s/1930s police service time. Many documents are named.
Part of the grouping are documents and photos as well as magazine and books as well as a front made "Schnaps" and ash tray set. The ash tray was crafted from a 1936 dated grenade shell. It shows a hammered swastika and SS runes to the match box holder. There are 5 Schnaps cups also made from shells showing the same patina and "hammered" design.
The ash tray and Schnaps grouping is certainly unique. Documents and books do not provide any SS or "Götz von Berlichingen" provenance.
