Sword for a civil servant


Description

An etched blade to three sides. It shows fine ornaments and the Saxon coat of arms. "WKC" maker marked. The back of the blade comes with the etched distributor's mark of C.A. Westmann Dresden. Brass hilt fittings. A wire-wrapped grip. Black leather scabbard with gilt brass fittings. 

Signs of use.

Length: 97 cm.

(The officials in Saxony had the rank of officer.)
