Saxon officer's visor cap serving with a Jäger batallion or Schützenregiment 108. Around 1900. Saxon Police would worn a similar cap.
Dark green cap with black velvet cap badge and red piping. A Saxon officer's cockade (Prussian design). Linen lining and leather sweat-band. Seam of the visor nearly entirely opened.
