Heer officer's sabre


Description

A nice clean blade showing the initials "HR" of the recipient. According to our consignor, his name was "Richter". Because of his bravery during the war, he was promoted to officer. So-called "Tapferkeitsoffizier" (bravery officer).

Black celluloid grip with intact wire wrapping. No damaged. The handle fittings are made from brass. Remains of the gold-plating present. A lion's head pommel with red glass eyes. The front langet bears the eagle with outstretched wings. Original black painted steel scabbard. It has no dents. 

Including the officer's portepee.

Length: 100 cm.

Signs of wear.
