M33 NSKK Service Dagger

Description

An early NSKK Service Dagger. Made by Ernst Pack & Söhne, Solingen.

The back of the blade shows the so-called "Röhm" dedication. The name "Ernst Röhm" and half of the word "Kameradschaft" have been removed. "E. P. & S." maker marked. On the front side the etched motto "Alles für Deutschland".

Brown wooden handle with originally inserted insignia. No chipping. Early nickel crossguards. "No" for Nordsee stamped on the lower crossguard. Original black painted steel scabbard with nickel fittings. All four screws are in position. One dent to the finial ("ball"). With the brown leather hanger. "A" (Assmann) maker marked and "DRGM" marked to the snap clip. Fully working.

The dagger was postwar assembled with original wartime parts.

Please note: From 1931 to 1936 NSKK members wore the same service dagger as the SA. The black scabbard was introduced in 1936. However, numerous NSKK members kept their "old" dagger and only changed the scabbard.

Signs of wear.
