Description

VIEW DESCRIPTION

Leutnant Otto Gaiser served with 10. Staffel/Jagdgeschwader 51. Before he disappeared (22.01.1944), Lt. Gaiser was credited with 66 victories in 380 missions. All his air victories were achieved over the Eastern Front. He was posthumously awarded the Knight's Cross and promoted to Leutnant on 9. June 1944.

M37 Luftwaffe officer's dagger to Leutnant Otto Gaiser.

Nickel-plated steel blade showing the maker's mark of Artur Schüttelhöfer. Rare to find on Luftwaffe daggers. Stains on both sides.

Aluminum fittings. White handle with wire wrapping. No chipping. The scabbard (magnetic) is free of dents. Comes with the officer's portepee.

Traces of wear. Condition 3+.
