Description

VIEW DESCRIPTION

Great looking Luftwaffe dagger complete with hanger and portepee made by Ludwig Zeitler of Vienna.

Very clean nickel-plated steel blade with the maker's mark somewhat crudeley stamped Zeitler - Wien.

White handle with intact wire wrapping. Aluminum handle fittings showing signs of gilt on the pommel. Attached officer's portepee. Nickel-plated steel scabbard wich is free of dents.

Includes dagger hangers of sinple construction. Maker marked with the Assmann A. Fully working snap clips.

Traces of wear but overall a nice white grip Luftwaffe dagger.
