Rare Heer dress bayonet KS 98 for a tank soldier (Panzermann). Made by Eickhorn, Solingen.
Fine etched blade showing a Wehrmacht eagle and a tank including a skull. Lettering "Zur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit", bordered by oak leave ornaments. Black bakelite grip plates. No chipping. Both original rivets in place. Nickel-plated handle fittings.
Original black factory painted steel scabbard. Around 97-98 % of the original paint in place. No dents. Including the brown leather frog. The back shows the initials of the recipient.
