SS standard-issue pattern canteen ('Feldflasche') marked: 'SS 39/36 RZM'. The piece comes complete with its (somewhat damaged) brownish-coloured- and woolen-based cover, black-coloured- and aluminium-based cup and leather-based carrying-straps (that show heavy wear and that miss their aluminum-based 'musketon'-hook). The aluminium-based cup shows a makers-designation that reads: 'O. & FL37'.
The aluminium-based bottle itself (as well as the screw-on top) are both stamped: 'SS 39/36 RZM' (the cover is also equally marked ie. ink-stamped on the inside). The piece shows heavy wear and some moth-damage: the leather shows equal wear and/or usage (and is 'dried-out'). Still a desirable and fully 'untouched' piece of rarely seen SS-field-gear!
