Waffen-SS large-sized medical canteen (ie. 'Feld- o. Labeflasche') being a piece that is nicely period-stamped- (ie. engraved) with the designation: 'SS 46/36 RzM'.
The (truly unusually seen!) piece has an estimated volume of at least 1,5 liter and comes fixed in its (complete and functional) leather-based carrying-device ('Tragevorrichtung'). The (aluminum) based bottle comes with its (firmly attached) closure that shows the engraved designation: 'SS 46/36 RzM'. This is also valid for the black-coloured cup (which retains all its black-coloured paint and shows the similar engraved text).
The piece comes stored in its period (woolen-based) cover that shows some minimal moth-damage. Taking into account the large-size of the this piece it can be assumed that it was intended for medical-usage ie. that it was carried by a medical-orderly.
