Branch: Gebirgsjäger (mountain troops). "Jägergrün" color piping.
Insignia: Aluminium wreath badge, Edelweiß and eagle, originally attached. All prongs on correct place. Rare fresh air cockade.
Chin strap: Textbook EM/NCO chinstrap, in perfect lacquered condition, correct buttons originally attached.
Lining: fine gold color silk lining with signs of age and use.
Celluloid diamond: nearly intact, with small damages at the nametag insert.
Maker's mark: HPC Frischluft Stirndruckfrei.
Sweat-band: Signs of wear and age, the seam is open to the front. The visor ah bit loose, but still firmly in place.
The cap is named on the left inner side under the sweatband. "Jäger Maier Johann, 6. G. J. R. 138"
Nice absolute original cap, with some signs of wear and age and small moth damages.
